Just saw it on Saturday. Awesome movie. Who knew Jonny Depp could sing?
it was soooo bloody i wasnt expecting that homeless lady to turn out to be who she was at the end........johnny depp was rly good in this movie

I agree. Best movie of 2007 and the best musical of the decade (Chicago was good, but did it really deserve an Oscar for Best Picture?). Heck, this may be Tim Burton's masterpiece! Shame that the movie was nominated for only 3 Oscars, though. It deserved a nom for make-up, I'm telling ya (Darn you, Norbit!!!).
AHHH...I promised myself I wasnt going to look at any discussions about Sweeney Todd.
I really really want to see it but I promised my friend I would see it with her...whenever she can get the time. Her mom was recently diagnosed with cancer so I told her she needed to relax a bit and take care of herself too...so Im only gonna see it with her.
I was going to watch it the day it came out but now I'll go when she can...and if we dont get to, Im just going to buy her the DVD and watch it with her.
Yeah, I really liked this movie. My favorite song had to be Perilis Miracle Elixir, Im not quite sure if thats what its called but it was one of the catchiest.
It was good, although my girlfriend hated it sooo much.
But my favorite musical is definitely 'Across the Universe' mostly just because it was like all music by the Beatles!
