Tear Jerker Movies?!

Question: What movies made you cry at the end and why? Please do not give any "I cried because it was so stupid" answers. I'm looking for honest answeres here.

example: E.T. made me cry because of the heartwrnching goodbye between a E.T. and Elliot.

1."Dancer in the Dark", the ending is SO sad!
2."The Fox and the Hound", it has always made me cry because they aren't really friends at the end just because they aren't "supposed" to be and I think that's dumb.
3."E.T." for the same above reasons.
4."Big Fish" because I get happy but sad at the end.

Titanic and The Notebook.

Saving Private Ryan

Old Yeller..... cried like a baby....right after the boy had to shoot him because he had become infected with rabies...... I owned a dog at the time and didn't want to have to ever see her die......

Pan's Labyrinth - It was emotionally exhausting
Romeo and Juliet - Duh, the saddest love story ever
Stepmom - Mom's aren't supposed to die
Men of Honor - Wow what a fantastic movie
The Green Mile - Again, it was really emotional
Backdraft - Old time fav

Legends of the Fall.

I cried almost all of the way through this movie. The scene were the brother died in WW1 and again when Tristan's wife died at the end. This is probably the saddest movie I have ever seen.

Its a Wonderful Life........
......I still cry even though I watch it constantly every Christmas.
It is amazing and so beautiful and it gives you that lovely warm feeling in your heart.

The Game Plan - With the Rock and his daughter.

the pursuit of happiness, the bucket list( when he kisses his granddaughter)

Bridge to Terabithia - it was so sad to hear that she had no friends until she moved to that town and the characters clicked together, I balled from the moment they said she was dead. So terrible terrible terribly sad!

The Fountain - It was so he worked so hard for a cure and finally found one once it was too late and the symbolism that she represented the "tree"

Phenomenon - the little boy knew his dad was coming home to die, and everyone wanted him to die in a hospital.

>Titanic, because tom dies.
>The Notebook, because its been an amazing journey, and its sad to see them go, but at least they're together.
>Moulin Rouge, because satine dies.
>Pearl Harbour, because josh hartnett's character dies before he gets to be a father, but its great that ben affleck's character gets to finally be with his girl.
>The Patriot, because mel gibson's character finally succeeds in the end, but unfortunately without his wife, and two older sons.
>Brokeback Mountain, because jack dies and the end is so emotional with ennis mourning.
>Atonement, because the two main lovers never get to spend their life together.
>Becoming Jane, because they cannot marry due to family disapproval.
>A Walk To Remember, because jamie dies.
>Gladiator, because the tag line is; Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next. Its so sad because he spends the whole film trying to get justice, and in the end he is reunited with them in the afterlife after a glorious victory.
>Captain Corelli's Mandolin, just the whole story, sooo romantic and tearful all the way through for me.
>Wuthering Heights, because catherine dies and heathcliff is left to misery. she chose wealth over true love and they never got the life they wanted.
>Bridge to Terabithia, because leslie dies and jesse's whole new world is shattered.
>Legends of the Fall, just the whole story is sad.
>Finding Neverland, because sylvia dies, after a whole film of denying illness and mourning her husband's death.
>Ghost, because she finally sees the ghost of her ex-boyfriend at the end before he has to move on to heaven.
>Rent, just genuinely sad at times.
>Romeo + Juliet, because they both kill themselves at such a young age, and it was purely an accident really.

I COULD GO ON FOREVER!!!....

The Color Purple...

The Cure: because it's the story of two little boys who have no friends and one of their mothers are against them playing with each other because one has aids. They become the best of friends and they go on the search for the cure. During this time the boy becomes really sick but has so much fun. They return home never finding the cure, the boy dies and it's so sad because the boy was always scared to sleep alone while they was seraching for the cure so the other boy would always give him his shoe to hold, so he places one of his shoes in the coffen with the little boy and takes one of his, he takes it out to the river where they begin there search and places the shoe in the river.....so sad....

Simon Birch: Another story of to unlikely friends. Simon is a dwarf who has no friends at all, the other little boy has no idea who his father is, him and Simon become best friends. The little boys mother is killed in a freak accident at a baseball game and she still has never told him who his father is. So him and Simon start searching for his father. They're always getting into trouble. Simon is really good with small children due to his size and he keeps telling everybody that he knows he has a purpose, he's right toward the end of the movie there's a accident with a bus and there's a little boy stuck on the bus Simon is the only one who can fit through the window to get him in freezing waters...He later dies at the hospital with his best friend at his side...Plus at the end it shows the boy all grown up standing by Simons grave with flowers and he calls out to his son who he named Simon...

These are two tear jerkers....I recommend them to everybody....if you don't shed tears you have no heart...

1. The Champ - when he dies after the boxing match and his son keeps saying, "Wake up Champ!!!" over and over.
