I wouldn't call it gory... but it's very psychologically disturbing. Contains nudity, depictions of rape, murder, torture... Have you read the book?
Honestly, I grew up watching some of the goriest movies around, and Clockwork Orange, despite it's general lack of major gore gave me far creepier dreams than any horror movie. LOL!
It's an excellent movie... just very disturbing.
Very gory. It contains rapes and murders. Visually stunning and the characters are well played. It is "ultrviolent."
Not really gory, but it's a psychological and pyschedellic ride. Haven't seen it in years, I know brainwashing and mind tricks are a big part of the "story", if there is one.
Suck it up and don't be a *****. A Clockwork Orange was a brilliant movie but if you don't have the peaches for it forget it...

its not really gory. disturbing, maybe for some. Its a great movie though. Brilliant actually. Just watch the movie, and maybe you will be able to determine the answer to your own question.

The rape scene is rather graphic and, although perhaps not gory, there is a high degree of violence, disguising the fact that this is a very black comedy indeed
Come and get on in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles. The movie isn't gory as it is violent. The gang speaks in it's own slang and you might not "get" it The first time, but after The 4th or 5th time you'll be quoting the film to your friends and laughing when Alex does his rendition of singing in the rain. enjoy. The movie is basically about a bad person forced to be rehabbed into good, then the "man" figuring out that this person needs to be bad and rehabbing him back to the bad person he was.(in a nut shell)
This movie is a Very Dark Comedy Movie....the people who made it (Kubrick and McDowell) had some "Balls of Steel" to make this movie.
Unless you're Mel Gibson and you're willing to finance a movie all by yourself.....you will not see Hollywood producing any movies like this anytime soon.

Not gory, necessarily. But disturbing and intense. As has been mentioned there are very violent scenes of rape and murder. The whole plot is a head trip. And it's disturbing on that very deep psychological level where they don't even have to show you a lot of blood and gore to get to you. But, visually it is still an absolutely amazing movie and it's also rather thought-provoking. Even though it was made over thirty years ago it's still so visceral that even the purported "extreme" movies of our time don't touch it. Lock the kids up if you're going to watch it. The book is excellent.
It isn't bloody or anything.
It is very violent. The actions of Alex and his droogs were particularly graphic, and the films Alex was shown in the behaviour modification scenes, but I think the greater violence was done to Alex by the doctors.
