Are these "goofs" in 300 accidental or intentional?!

Question: Leonidas and Gorgo's son looks way too old to be 6 yrs old. He looks closer to 10 or so.

Also, that group of 300 soldiers that escorts Leonidas looks more like 50 at most. In the majority of shots, closer to 25. The group shot at the end looked more like 300.

I'm all for artistic license and have no problems suspending my disbelief but those two just seemed too glaring to ignore.

never thought about it. but i guess the kid did look kinda old. but wasn't he supposed to go on his little training thing the next year, which was like 11 or 12? or was it 8? it depends on the scene w/ the soldiers, sometimes it looks really tight-knit like 50 or so, but in some scenes it seems larger.

I thought the child looked his age. But I have a 7 year old neice who looks 12, so maybe thats why.
The group of 300, at the times when it shows them in whole looks to be about 300, but most of the time your only seeing the front. So technically these aren't goofs, but interpretation, which is what is great about film. Everyone has a different interpretation.

I thought the whole movie was a "goof."
