Question: They're going to keep on making these crappy movie spoofs if people keep seeing them. "Meet the Spartans" looks like the worst movie since "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park," and yet it got the top spot in the box office this past weekend.

I haven't seen it, since our local theater decided not to play it. For once, they actually made a good decision!
Of course, even if Meet the Spartans was playing there, I'd avoid it like the plague.

I agree with you. With a little practice and perusing the reviews you can usually spot a Dud and avoid it. MTS has "huge Dud" written all over it. Though you could pick worse subjects to make fun of and try to get a laugh. Then again maybe you can't pick a worse subject. The movie this is based on isn't all that historically accurate either. I saw the "Bucket List." Not bad, got somes laughs and cried a few tears. Nicholson kills me.
I want to see the movie b/c I think its funny. I laugh when I think about the movie. I am not going to pay to see it in theaters. I will watch when it comes to DVD.
i have scary movie 1 and 2. i went to see meet the spartans in theaters, wth my friends. it was SOOO funny! i am gonna get the unrated dvd for date movie, epic movie, meet the spartans. hahahahaha they are gonna make more spoof movies!!! YEAH FOR ME, SUCKS FOR U!!!!!
I saw it yesterday. It's waste of seven dollars, for sure.

my friend and i each payed $7.50 and it was worth it. after the movie i saw superbad online
i never saw a parody movie before SERIOUSLY so it was worth it.
