I'm a couple weeks late but let's talk Cloverfield?!

Question: So I know I'm a couple of weeks late, but I saw Cloverfield yesterday *spoilers*

What did you guys think?

I actually really liked it! The beginning party scene was a little too long, but funny at times. The action was really good and intense. The scene in the subway tunnel where they put the camera on night vision and see the alien things was pretty awesome! Scared me! There were a few times that I got really into the action, and realized I was like gripping the seat and sitting realy wierd, you ever have that happen? Like you take a second to bring yourself back to reality. The handheld camera thing was a cool effect, but definitely got annoying. I think if they make a sequel, it should be filmed like a regular movie. Or maybe have the handheld camera thing every once in a while, I dunno. I would just like to know more of what really happened, if there is a sequel.

I liked it too! The camera movement didn't affect me at all. I thought it added to the action and drama. I heard about the whole ocean scene before I saw the movie but never saw anything. Oh well, maybe I'll check it out again just to see that part again.

I don't know what to think about that movie...honestly I was so sick of the camera movements that I averted my eyes for half the movie! Yes, I agree that it was scary...Intense at times! I kept thinking about how the people must have felt on September 11th...I would like to see a sequel from another point of view..I wonder how the monster was born, or where it came from?!

A sequel, like having a second hand held camera of the same event taken by someone else that was not a part of the party?

AWESOME!!!!
