......a Challenge for the Fans of the 1978 comedy, "Love at First Bite"!
Question: ...like any other devoted fan of this riotous & supernaturally romantic comedy, I remain aghast at the insertion of that gawd-awful generic disco cover song, titled "The Man That I Love", instead of Alicia Bridges' hit disco song, "I Love the Nightlife", which originally played in the theatrical release of the film, during the disco floor scene, with Dracula & the girl he was after. Apparently done for legal/copyright reasons (...even though the occasional broadcast on AMC, typically features the original song), the VHS reflected this unfortunate song exchange, as well as the recent DVD release...
...my question, or rather questions to the fans of the movie, or whoever might want to take up the challenge, is who WAS the artist, who did the replacement cover song??? Where might I find (...or perhaps establish) a petition, to be signed and sent to the folks over at MGM Home Video, asking the (...or perhaps coercing them) to replace the original motion picture soundtrack

...been working on THAT one, since I stumbled upon someone asking the question, several months ago, as well as recently; to this day, I still have not been able to find the artist of that substitute song...
