Does anyone care about movie critics opinions?!
Question: i dont. i dont see why there opinions matters most than the average person. anyone agree dissagree?
Answers: i dont. i dont see why there opinions matters most than the average person. anyone agree dissagree?
I agree. Their opinion is just that: an opinion. I am not going to watch something just because a couple of people think it is now the hottest thing. I might think it sucks. Other movies they hate I might end up loving. Since they have their own tastes like everyone else, I just ignore it all and watch whatever I think I might find interesting. Just like everyone else usually does
i only care when they huv the same opinion as me about the film otherwise no
sometimes i agree but most of the times they are dead wrong..I usually see what they have to say and if i watch the previews and see something there i dont like...i usually wait until they come out on dvd
No, even the worst movies can find someone to give a good review.
No, I'd love to get paid to write what I think of a movie!
i really dont care about what the movie critics say. i go c the movie and make my own opinion.
Depends on the critic. I don't listen to Leonard Maltin or Michael Medved or any other ot the industry shills out there. I do listen to Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper and Pat Travis. I can usually depend on their opinions to mirror my own and so can guide me to stuff I would like. Except for action movies, I go on my own there. Otherwise I would have missed Resident Evil or Dragon Wars.
nope...everyone has their own opinion about one thing and it's include movies
The only good critic is a dead...oh...sorry.
Two things...critics showed coming attractions of movies...that died when apple trailers came on the scene. The second thing is they actually convince me...sometimes...to go see a movie I had no intention of watching. And often they speak of movies that they did not like. These are the movies...I had no interest in seeing...that they did not like...that I end up enjoying.
Outside that...I rarely get caught with my pants down. Except when I went to see Revenge of the Sith. My fault. I had seen the other two...so there is no reason why I should have believed Sith would be better. I listened. It wasn't. Doodoo on a stick...marketed as Shish-kebab. That was probably the last time I took any of them seriously about a movie being good.
Hope this helps.
