What movie star or singer that died that had the most traumatic effect on you?!

Question: Kurt Cobain
Stevie Ray Vaughan and
River Phoenix for me.

Answers: Kurt Cobain
Stevie Ray Vaughan and
River Phoenix for me.

cobain-all that talent so wasted because he didn't get help he needed , and instead was with that notalent witch.of a wife jim morrison. i always wished it was a set up and he would really come back and have a concert that i could go to.
same with joplin. same with all of them...

i wish these crazyass ppl would get enough help to keep themselves alive so we could continue to be amused by them. they really do have a lot of nerve...

River Phoenix, John Candy and Phil Hartman...it's always sad though

Heath Ledger
River Phoenix

Brandon Lee & River Phoenix. No singer

none

River Phoenix and Michael Hutchence deaths were big shocks and very sad. Those are the first 2 that spring to mind.

Anna Nicole Smith......LOL but I "knew" her, so it was sad.

freddie mercury bless him!

honestly it is sad to say but it isn't like we know these celebrities, so yes it is sad, but it isn't like family. if anyone, for me it was Walter Matheou from Dennis the Mennace and the Grumpy Old Men Movies

I think it can only be traumatic if you are young when it happens but I would say Eddie Cochran when I was 14. I was a bit shaken when Elvis died though and I was 32 then.

i dont know i was very shocked when i heard that anna nicole smith had died.

Freddie Mercury the end of a brilliant era.

Aalliyah, Brandon Lee and Heath Ledger

Aalliyah was friggin HOT!! One of the hottest african american women i have seen to this date.

Brandon Lee an awsome martial artist. His movies rocked

Heath Ledger if he rocks as the Joker in the upcoming Dark Knight movie which im afraid he will. Then it will be impossible to fill his shoes should there be a third installment of Batman with the Joker in it.

I think it's really sad when someone dies at a really young age like River Phoenix or Heath Ledger - you always wonder what they would have achieved if they'd lived to a normal age.

I think the star that bothered me the most was Audrey Hepburn when she died. Even though she didn't have to, she worked really hard for the children of Unicef. I think she was really inspiring in the fact that she used her celebrity to make a big difference in all those kid's lives. She was at a benefit here in Cleveland, Ohio not long before she died and I'm really sorry that I couldn't attend - I would have loved to have met her.

Well, the death of any actor or performer never had a traumatic experience, although i was shocked when John Lennon was killed

None had a traumatic effect on me. Well, not anymore so than someone else dying that I didn't know.

It does piss me off though when someone that shows talent goes and kills themselves. A completely selfish act.

People in the limelight almost have a moral obligation to their fans to stick around or drop off the radar.

Then again I suppose you're not thinking clearly if you are doing drugs or want to kill yourself.

John Lennon

Freddie Mercury, Bob Monkhouse, Bruce Forsyth. Oh hang on he is still with us? well sort off, it wont be long i will leave him on!!!

James Dean

It was such a shock when John Ritter died, i really felt for his family.

Heath Ledger :( i still can't belive he's gone

I was upset when Kurt Cobain died. To this day it bothers me some.
I was somewhat shocked last year to hear Roscoe Lee Brown had passed. I know he was old and sick for a long time, but it still got to me. His voice was so soothing and powerful.

Elvis. I was stunned into silence.

none of them affected me personally as I did not know them. But any premature or unnatural death is a tragedy, whether they are movie stars or not.

Joe Strummer

Bruce Lee. He died before i was born, but having read most of his books and having an interest in his lifes work, it's a shame he died way before his time... real tragic.

Not to mention his son Brandon dying at an early age too.

R.I.P

River Phoenix because he seemed like a great person and he shared an even greater love for animals than I do. He was an excellent actor as well............ I love the film Stand By Me.

Has to be freddy mercury!

I was coming home from a trip to France when the news came over the radio - but is getting blown-off by a girl i was dating at the time when i heard - kinda made it stick in my mind!

Kirsty Mac Coll,(R.I.P.)

Freddy Mercury and Marlon Brando

Heath Ledger
So sad :(
