Disappointed by Juno?!

Question: I saw it. And it was not nearly as good as it was built up to be. I didn't think it was funny. I understood the point of the story, but I don't understand why people thought it was funny or cute.
It was pretty serious and made me want to enroll Juno into attitude adjustment classes.

Also: What happened with Clark and Vanessa at the end?
And what did Juno's note say? (I missed it.)

Yeah, I was disappointed in it but thought it was good overall but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be and also because I thought it seemed like she could have kept the baby because she wasn't homeless or unable to work and the baby's father was still with her.
People thought it was cute and funny because Juno had her quirky sarcastic wit and the goofy soundtrack and she found a quick and easy solution to a problem a lot of young mothers have.
I think you mean Mark and Vanessa? Mark went on living the way he wanted to after he broke up with Vanessa and Vanessa was happy with the baby. Juno's note said,"I'm in if you still are", and it was addressed to Vanessa.
It looks like we may be the only two who looked at it critically I answered almost the same question and got bashed for answering honestly!

i loved it!!!!

clark and vanessa broke up and he moved out and vanessa got the baby to her self
the note said from Juno To Vanessa "I'm Still in if u are"

wasnt juno some cheap skate dial up email thingy?

I loved the movie and I thought it was touching and humourous. You are right though, the subject line was serious and sometimes you did want to just get the girl in the movie to open her eyes a bit more to her situation... but she was just a girl and you can't expect her to have more maturity than her age allows.

I think it was a sweet film, but also sad.

I think Juno's whole attitudte just represented her total inability to cope with the situation.
She's pretty awesome, though... Definitely a cult-figure-in-training, like Napoleon Dynamite but LESS ANNOYING!!
The guy was pretty cute too, and the song at the end was so sweet!!!
I don't know how you couldn't have liked it, but then again I am a somewhat hormonal teenage girl, and I'm probably exactly who the film was aimed at, so hey.

i didnt really have any excitment pinned on it but i still thought it would be funnier then what it was, coming by what people had told me. it was good im glad i saw it but i think it was more of a dvd movie then a pay 12 bucks and sit in the cinema. -- yeh the note said vanessa im in if you're in juno. and they broke up he moved into the city
