Whats the name of this Movie - Please Help?!
Question: Another movie set in the 30 to 40's I think. Set in either New York or similar. Similar style of movie as a Dean Martin movie - Love story, comedy, light hearted.
I can remember a lady with a Large White coat, I think the main male character is very rich and drives past and her coat gets covered with water and muck.
I can also remember her being in a type of bistro but all the food is in a old fashion type of Vending Machine where the shop fills small windows with food and the customers open the little window and take the meal they want.
The guy works in one of the buildings close by and I think he sends his friend or someone from his work down to the lady to ask if he can have the coat cleaned for her. She isn't very impressed.
It all ends happily with them getting together.

I think I know exactly which movie you're talking about ... either that or it's a movie with the exact same deal minus the coat.
Doris Day and Carey Grant in "That Touch of Mink". She is going for a job interview, standing on the street corner when he drives past in his limo (or rich-ish car with driver) and splashes muck on her.
She goes to the local food place, which her friend works at and supplies her with free food and complains about the jerk who splashed her. Meanwhile Grant feels vaguely guilty so he sends his worker (who enjoys the money he earns but hates that he's working for the 'man'), who gets slapped by Day's best friend because she thinks he's Cary inappropriately propositioning her.
Which he eventually does anyway.
