How do you feel when you see obvious product placement in a movie?!

Question: Do you feel like you just paid to see a long commercial? Do you feel like your pleasure of watching a movie was just invaded?

Yes I do. Critically acclaimed "Juno", which I hated, seemed to start off as a commercial for Sunny Delight and Tic-Tacs.

No one here can honestly tell me that they have not seen "Coca Cola" or "Dell" popped up now or then. It takes so much enjoyment out of a movie to see that advertising has such a huge presence in the film industry.
I hate it.

I usually don't care either way. Buisnesses do anything they can to get their product out there, so just learn to live with it. In this day and age everything is commercialized

If the plot is good it doesn't bother me. Remember Wayne's World? I was rolling when they started their "obvious product placement".

I don't mine the isolated incident...you know...the character puts a diet coke down with the lable turned out so you can see what it is.

I do NOT like when it seems like the entire movie revolves around the product being placed.

I'm so tired of it, especially when it's so obvious what they are trying to sell. This is the best soda, beer, cellphone, car or whatever... wow, I'm impressed! NOT!!! After seeing it for 10.000 times through the years...

I agree with Jen M. the character takes a sip out of a coke or pepsi or has 5 wunderbars sitting by his bong, that's okay. I want a certain degree of realism in movies, and, let's face it, nobody drinks generic colas when given the choice. But when it starts to become the subject of more than a few lines of dialogue we have a problem.
