there are many more. if you have any answers or any more problems feel free to raise them.

1. It would take too much gas to drive a boat out everyday, and what if he had engine problems or something like that, plus i dont think he was able to back the boat down the ramp, and then the movie would be more like waterworld, cause the bad guys would eventually get jet skis at night
2. well a tiger escaped from the san francisco zoo, maybe no where is safe from lions or tigers
3. I dont think they were zombies, like zombies from zombie movies so you really cant compare the two, these were more like cartoony zombies with vampire traits except for the cool stuff about vampires, so all they really got was the sunlight crap
4. he created a anti virus that worked on him and no one else, he was selfish
5. dude, i dunno maybe it evovled or something......how many more questions could you have.....maybe you should rewatch the movie. Here's one for you......so he sees the butterfly Tattoo at the end and that automatically tells him that the little boy with the girl with the tattoo is the answer he has been looking for......GAY

if i were a mutated zombie dog i woulda done the same. Report It

  • 1. It's possible he didn't have a boat. I mean, all of the big boats were taken to transport people away.

    2. Over time those fences and such in the zoo become worn out. Without food, those animals would become aggressive enough to escape.

    3. They weren't really ZOMBIES, they had a disease. That disease made them sensitive to light.

    4. There WERE other people that were immune. But like he said in the movie, those people were killed off by the diseased people.

    5. Who knows, I'm not a scientist.

Seriously, did you even pay attention to the movie? And secondly, it's JUST A MOVIE. Let it go.

    1. The fuel for the Boats would have taken away from the fuel for the Cars. If he had a rowing then it would take too long to get to shore, be really cold, wouldnt be able to put guns on it.

    2. I'm guessing the infected released them.

3.They're not zombies they're referd to as infected but in the book known as vampires.

    4. there was a 0.2% imunity, he was one of them.

    5. It evolved.

These are the same sort of questions hat people asked about the Charlton Heston movie - Omega man (same basic storyline).

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067525/

In the end, you just gotta "go with it" and just enjoy the movie.

Movies & TV programs all require a certain level of "suspension of disbelief" - in other words, they do not have to be realistic, only believable and internally consistent. That's why the Star Wars movies "work" - despite deviating significantly from basic physics.

By comparison, movies like 2001 and Solaris (Tarkovsky version) make much more effort to comply with know physics (as much as they can and still tell the story).

    Here's one more Q. for you :
    - Why the freaking "Zombie" didn't go and finish up "will smith" but instead he sent the dogs?

1 He was trying to find a cure to reverse the effects so he needed his lab. Plus if he slept at night in the boat what if he ran a ground. miles away from his haven?

2 The virus made things strong. so yeah they could have gotten out if they were the crappy habitats like the one that tiger jumped out of and killed that kid.

    3 nope everybody.

4 he wasn't 90% of the humans died of the 10% left 9% turned into freaks and they ate most of the left over 1% that were immune.
5 bird flu happened the same way.

the book is different from the movie. check wikipedia if you really wanna know.

    1. He didn't live on a boat because all the boats have been taken to evacuate all the people who were not infected. The other boat, I am guessing, had no fuel in them.

    2. There are zoos in NY. After three years I think they would have been more aggressive and had gotten out somehow. Week cages or bent bars.

    3. The Dark Seekers were vulnerable to the light because their skins mutated, making their skin absorb more of the UV rays. Their pupils were also dilated which means they could see better in the dark and then but hurt by the sun, being that their dilated pupils let in more light.

    4. He wasn't the only immune human. There was a mere 1% immunity chance on the whole earth. That leaves a few thousand people immune to these creatures.

    5. The infected could have fed of flying animals. After some time the infected flying animals would spread across to all the flying animals. Thats how I think the virus got off the island in the first place.
