Yes, there will be a season 2. And it's already been cast, and has started filming.

As for a DVD release of season 1 - that is unclear. CBS has not said whether or not they intend to move the show to DVD. It's possible, we'll just have to wait and see. If they did, they would likely announce it after Season 2 airs.
