The best Dracula of all was Christopher Lee very scary, the ghost from scream films was spooky too, Michael Myers in the Halloween flicks was great. But the film that spooked me the most was The Entity about a woman who was raped repeatedly by a evil poltergeist.

actually i watched a film called Wolf Creek based on a true story and it is terrifying. movie horror characters don't bother me its what real people do that scares the hell out of me and gives me nightmares

I think Jigsaw from Saw just because he always knows the persons next move. Not to mention his contraptions are awesome =].
i reckon jigsaw the guy isn't scary but if you woke up in one of his traps then you'd be scared s.hitless
Freddy Krueger...on the first few then they became comical...Jason....Michael Meyers....Leather Face....Jeepers Creepers pt 1....The Wishmater....Warlock....Polgertise....th... creatures in the Beastmaster that wrapped their wings around you, yeah that was kind of sick....The Devil in the movie Legend that had Tom Cruise in it.....Zombies....That's just a few lol...
pennywise scared me until i found out it was Tim Curry the transvestite out of Rocky Horror Picture Show, for some reason i just kept picturing him in a basque and suspenders with bright red lipstick on lol
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the two evillest characters I can think of are Michael Keaton in Pacific Heights and Kiefer Sutherland in Phone Booth.

"Chatterbox" from Hellraiser movies. Especially in Hellraiser Inferno, when he is just a torso.
Hannible Lecter without a doubt. He really gives me the chills because he's an absolute lunatic and yet totally rational.
It's got to be Count Orlock from Nosferatu. The first time I saw that film was at my grandma's house when I was 10. Even to this day all I have to do is look at a picture of Count Orlock and I will have nightmares!
But the best Count Dracula ever has got to be Béla Lugosi.

Candyman, without a doubt. The entire movie gave me the creeps, but that character really rattled me.
