I would definitely say "Brokeback Mountain". He took a risk and he did a fantastic job of bringing Ennis Del Mar to life. Real actors take risks and avoid being stereotyped into roles that they feel "safe" in. He was a real actor.
Heath Ledger will truly be missed....this is still surreal to me. He wasn't noticed by the media for the drama that we see with some of our young actors today and that's what makes his death hurt so much.
He was a beautiful and talented man. My prayers and thoughts are extended to his family, friends and those who are affected by his unexpected loss.
Heath Ledger 1979-2008.....we love you man.

haha definitely not brokeback, more of a knights tale fan
although I didnt like the movie so much, he did an awesome job in Brokeback Mountain.

i have to say i most enjoyed 10 things i hate about you. he didnt have such a great part in the movie, but it's one of those you can watch and watch over and over without getting tired of it.

It would defiantly be a toss between A Knights Tale and Patriot. I am saddened at his death he was a very great actor and seemed to be a decent person, unlike so many we hear so much about these days.

I really took notice of him in the Mel Gibson film: The Patriot.
I've enjoyed all gis films... the tone of his voice had been very enduring. Brokeback Mountain was where he really performed in true excellence. His death is a very sad tragedy... especially for America's film industry. He'll live on in our memories... just like James Dean.
Monster's Ball (he should've gotten an Oscar nomination for it) or The Patriot.

Candy was wonderful, but he did a fantastic job of the tight lipped Ennis in Brokeback.
I believe Heath's best film was "The Patriot". He showed so much of himself in that movie. Sadly, in the film as well as in life, he passes on in the end. "10 Things I hate about you" would be second on my list. What an amazing actor he was.. R.I.P.
I really can't choose a favorite. He was such a wonderful actor and every part he did in his movies was just spectacular. It's so sad to hear about his death. I was in shock, and still am in shock. I just can't believe he's gone. I know I didnt know him personally, but my heart just breaks for him and his family.. It's just so sad.. Rest In Piece Heath..
