It is such a shame - I have been a big fan of his for about 8 yrs (since I first saw '10 Things'), and you could see the talent the man possesd and how it grew with every film. It is such a shame that a someone as young and as talented as Heath can go so soon, and to leave a very young child behind.
RIP Heath Ledger.
It's a real shame, he was brilliant in a Knights tale.

I actually didnt know much about him until like today, Id always heard about brokebackmountain or w.e lol but umm yeah bummer such a young age huh.
i thought he was a great actor and i enjoyed the films i saw him in!

i didnt know much about him but its sad all the same. the only problem i have now is that everyone is gonna start saying how great he was even though they probably never gave a sh1t about him when he was alive. like river phoenix

i do. i mean, he's so handsome and talented. i just found out about it at school from my classmates. i then checked online and it was quite devastating.
Didn't find him remarkable as an actor, but he seemed a lovely guy and i was really really pepped to see his joker portrayal- pity because if he does a good joke he will be immortalised by Batman fans like myself forever, but now he will never know how he was recieved.
I'm a chronic insomniac as well so i know what it's like not too be able to sleep, when you can't sleep, sometimes you'll guzzle too many sedatives, accidentally, because you're overtired, i'm just lucky, i once spent a night in hospital after taking the same pills he did. luckily i've found marijuana now- as far as sleep medication goes, i'll take getting arrested and being yelled at by fundies over getting dead.
promising actor definately, was great in brokeback (even though i hated the movie), was the new 'Joker' in batman dark knight and was currently shooting another new flick, i hope he didnt commit suicide over his ex (early rumors) since thats just a bloomin' waste hes talented and good looking i sure he would have had his pick of many fine women. RIP.
he wasn't one of my favorite actors but i have seen some of his films. it was so sudden and i was shocked when i heard about his death
i liked him alot, my favourite film was one of his first, The First Knight, but he looks really good in the Batman film, he was set to be a real big star but once again the drugs took him! I blame the Hollywood doctors to a point tho as they are the ones telling them that to take 10 differnt types of antidepressents, sleeping pills etc is going to help them which to me is just plain b******t! its just their way of taking their money and making them dependant on them! Being famous must be hectic but there should be people there to help the young ones cope with fame and keep them on the right path. I would rather my quiet poor little life, than all that money and fame in a heart beat!!

i was a big fan of heath ledger, ever since i saw him in '10 things i hate about you'. especially the part in the movie where he sings that song "i love you baby", whilst being chased by the cops. when i saw him in "a knight's tale", i started to take him more seriously. and when i saw him in "brokeback mountain", i knew he was the type that was up for anything. playing a gay guy is not easy to do. and he was quite a charmer in "casanova". i can't wait to see "the dark knight". i've seen glimpses of him as the joker, and he looks very similar to when jack nicholson played the joker. i hope he pulls it off, as that would be his last movie ever! i am truly saddened because he had a lot to live for, and he was very young, and he had the potential to become a bigger star

he is... was an extremely talented, no damn near gifted actor who lived life for the moment it was. what a stupid way to die. he will be immortalized for "the patriot", and "brokeback mountain", ...... no immortalized is the wrong word. remembered, that might do it.... more than remembered.... feel free to enter here.... he will be missed.
Horrible, i still can't believe he's gone. I got back from work this afternoon and my Father told me that Heath ledger had pasted away, and i was like " no, no, no, you must be talking about someone else right?". So i went on Yahoo news, and sure enough, i heard the news. Wow, talk about a new years death. Truly sad in so many ways. He will be greatly missed.
