Did you watch the movies with Abbott and Costello ??!

Answers: I'm only 38 but I remember they were always on television when I was a child ! They were so funny !!
As a child of the Fifties, I grew up seeing their films as filler for TV programming, and they were shown often. One of my favorites is "The Time of Their Life", but I do recall many bits and skits from the others. My sister and I used to giggle so much over Lou eating catfish as he heard the sounds of a very distressed cat. I'm not sure if I'm mixing up some, but I seem to recall him battling an oyster in stew, with the mollusk ending up spitting at him.
I haven't seen the films for several years now, but I'm sure that I would enjoy them all over again.
"I'm a baaaaaaad boy!" *giggle*
"Who's on first?"
NOTE: I had to come back to add that I just read the other posts and was amazed how many of us mention that baseball routine! I thought of "Rain Man" when I typed the above, too, because I saw that film several days ago. I think I have some audiocassettes of their routines somewhere, so maybe I'll dig 'em out and give 'em a listen!
Yes...their movies and TV show were great! "who's on first?" is a classic

Oh yeah. I loved Abbott and Costello Meets Frankenstein.
I loved them too. Their movies stand the test of time.
But you miss all the modern movie making evolution, like great sound tracks and special effects, while watching old movies.
I also loved how Rain Man obsessed about their classic "who's on first" routine. It is awesome!!!
