There is no reason you shouldn't be allowed to see Atonement and you should definitely do so.
Its hardly fair to you that the MPAA arbitrarily decided to slap an "R" onto this film. They could have easily given it a "PG-13" or something allowing you to view it. But they didn't, those jerks.
Yahoo movies says the rating is due to "disturbing war images, language and some sexuality". That is seriously some mild stuff. Certainly no worse than you'd see on TV. Anyways. Buy your tickets online they can't ID you there.

It is becasue "the man" is trying to get you down. Apparently it is working because you seem kinda bummed. Maybe we should overthrow the government becasue you're not allowed to watch R-rated movies. Or you could wait unitl it comes out on DVD and have your parents (or ANYONE over 18) rent it for you.
