Cloverfield ending?!
Question: Who else was disaponted by the ending? I mean seriously what happened to the monster and do you think thoses two died? And what about all the other people in Manhatten? Didn't you think it was gross when that girls body exploded......i mean that was kind of creepy.....why do you think that happened?

No. The ending was good. The whole movie is supposed to be mysterious. See, it's interesting because not everything is explained to you. It's basically up to you to decide what happens. But who knows, there might be a sequel and Rob, Beth and possibly Lily might still be alive. And as for what happened to Marlena, YEAH that was gross and she was my favorite charachter! And also, if all those missiles and bombs couldn't kill the monster.... what would?

the ending was pretty funny "i had a good DAy" then credits lol. its kinda dissapointed but great movie
They are making a 2nd one because in the end after the credits you will hear static and words you can't make out, but if you reveres the static you will here a man saying it's still alive.
I liked the ending, it was definitly a surprise. We know that the monster died, otherwise the government wouldn't have been able to get the tape back. We know the government got the tape back because it says "Property of US Government" on the screen before it shows the tape. The monster must have been either dead or gone because they would have had to have been able to rebuild New York and find that camera under the broken bridge. The 2 people have to be dead, there is no way they would survive a bridge falling on them. The girls body exploded because she was bit and once your bit your infected, kind of like how when a vampire bites someone they become a vampire.
