Did anyone get motion sick after watching "Cloverfield"?!
Question: I sat in the front row of the movie theatre and I got so dizzy from the camera moving all the time. I had another friend go to the bathroom and throw up. Anyone else had a similar experience?

My fiance and I sat in the middle of the theater and we both got motion sickness. I had to look away several times during the movie to prevent an upchuck. And the flashing lights in the skyscaper had a strobe light effect that was unpleasant. I really liked the movie and I would like to see it again but the herky jerkiness of the movie makes me hesitate. I recommend it to anyone but beware of the side effects!!

I did as well-I got a little queasy in Blair Witch but this one made me much queasier-I am glad I didn't get popcorn before the show. I still loved the movie and will try to watch it again when it is on dvd but might take some dramamine first which is silly but I really enjoyed the movie
Would have been sick as a dog but as a life long sufferer of motion sickness, I know all the tricks. I sat very far back so that a much smaller percentage of my field of view was filled with the screen. In this way my eyes had enough peripheral information to tell my brain I was stationary. Motion sickness is all a conflict between visual input and inner ear balance input.
We sat in the back of the theatre, and as a precaution, we took Dramamine. Neither of us got sick or dizzy.

Yeah I know at the beginning the camera was moving too fast and I just looked away. And the part when they run too. I can't believe your friend had to go to the bathroom hope he or she is all right. Hope this helps :)

My 2 other friends and I were puking after the movie... I was fine until half way through then it just hit me.
