Cloverfield is a monster movie. The monster in it is a monster that highly resembles Sin, from Final Fantasy. I can create spider like, smaller monsters that attack his enemies.

No one's sure. It never said in the movie, but one theory given by Hud, who was the guy with the camera, was that it lived in the ocean and hadn't been discovered, like some fish scientists found that had thought it was extinct. This could be it, or it could be something else.
At the end of the movie when the footage cuts back to a month before the party. Beth and Rob are in a ferris wheel or something and have the camera pointed toward the ocean, and you can see something fall into the water, but it is unknown as to what it is. Some say it could be the monster itself, other say it could be a satellite. But whatever it was, it definitely might have come from the ocean. It seems that's where a lot of monsters like to come from. Lol.
I just saw it on friday! It was rly good... weird ending tho. anyways it's like an alien spider thing that drops out smaller (which r rly huge) versions of the mom/dad (idk the gender). I think its some type of mutated spider.
They never really show it. I couldn't even tell how many legs it had.

Apparently some kind of Alien mutated sea monster. It does not eat people for one. But it likes to kill people. I guess it is trying to eliminate the humans. Maybe it is another War of the Worlds.
