Well, I liked "300", and "gangs of new york" is even better! You probably haven't heard of it, but I thought "The sound of thunder" was pretty good to!!

Gladiator

Sweeney Todd!

Anything with Johnny Depp in it or Russell Crow.

A good comedy, anything Adam Sandler like "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry"

Good luck I hope I helped!

Added: I forgot, anything with Christian Bale in it too.

Apocolypto... amazing :)

The Painted Veil (Drama)
La Vie En Rose (Drama)
A Very Long Engagement (Drama/Love Story)
Little Children (Drama)
The Virgin Suicides (Drama)
Vertigo (Thriller)

The Watcher in the Woods 1980

When an American family moves into a beautiful old English house in a wooded area, strange, paranormal things happen. One daughter sees, and the other daughter hears, the voice of a teenage girl who mysteriously disappeared during a total solar eclipse decades

SWEENEY TODD The Demon Barber of Fleet Street!!this is the best movie i have ever seen!!!
The Secret Window
The Illusionist

a movie in theaters or to rent? i saw sweeney todd (the one with johnny depp) and i thought it was actually pretty good. it was a musical, by the way. we didnt know that when we went to see it! it was kind of a dark comedy. the simpsons movie is good. and stardust and harry potter 5! if you like animated movies, shrek 3 is pretty good...

Second Hand Lion.
It's a feel good fabulous movie.
A young boy is sent to live with his two elderly uncles in
the country. Adventure, laughter and some tears.
SO GOOD!

I'm in love with P.S. I Love You- About a man (Gerry) and a woman (Holly) who are married and Gerry dies of a brain tumor. He knew he was dying so he set up letters to give to Holly, making her do things she would never do, and making her do things to help her get over his death. It is so sweet and it's not just the letters and her doing things, they go back to moments when Gerry was alive. Best movie ever. It's still in theaters so you can see it there or watch it online here (I reccomend the second version):http://www.watch-movies.net/movies/ps_i_...

or

27 Dresses: This one you have to see at the theater because it's not online anywhere since it just opened. It's about a girl (Jane) who grew up loving weddings, and she's been a bridesmaid 27 times. A guy (Kevin) sees her getting a taxi and leaving a wedding (she leaves o go to another one she is also a bridesmaid for at the same time) and coming back and leaving again. While she is at the wedding that Kevin is also at a girl hits her while trying to catch the boquet and Kevin helps her get back up and gets her a taxi which he rides with her to her house. She left her planner in the taxi that shows what weddings she is going to, so he keeps popping up at all of these weddings. The real twist is that he is a writer for the New York Journal and covers weddings, he is the writer that Jane loves and clips out all of his articles, not knowing it's him who writes them because he uses a different name for the by line. Really good, laughed all the way through and even got a little tearyeyed at some moments-I did with P.S. I Love You too, though!

alien and predator 2. spider man 3.

Superbad, great movie, won't regret it. :)

Depends what sort of films you like.

If you like wacky comedies, try Zoolander.
If you like rom-coms, try Love Actually.
If you like musicals, try Hairspray.
If you like science fiction, try Minority Report.
If you like high school films, 10 Things I Hate About You.
If you like gangster films, there are loads, try The Departed.

Directors I recommend are Baz Lurhmann, Tim Burton, Martin Scorsese and Steven Soderbergh - they all make films which are of a consistently high standard imo.

Se7en, Face/Off,

If you fancy watching some more cultural films, try:
The Apple (or Sib) by Samira Makhmalbaf, Magnolia by Paul Anderson, American Beauty by Sam Mendes, Mulholland Drive by David Lynch or Un Chien Andalou by Luis Bu?uel.

HAPPY GILMORE, LITTLE NICKY,ROCKY BALBOA,SPIDERMAN 3, RUSH HOUR 3, FREEDOM WRITERS,SAVED BY THE BELL LAS VEGAS. ETC... I CAN KEEP GOING ALL DAY.
