This movie is about a monster that is destroying New York. The monster is really big and destructive but thats not all. The monster releases little aliens and the little aliens are sneaky and can kill. Everybody freaks out.
Before all of this happens, Rob Hawkins has a going way party and many people are there. Rob's girlfriend brings another boy and Rob is mad at her(her name is Elizabeth or Beth). So she leaves with her other boyfriend and go somewhere else. Rob is very mad and talks with his friend and his brother outside their party place. They are interrupted by this huge eruption. They think its an earthquake until there is an explosion in the town. They run away into the street and nobody knows what's happening.
People start to go into shock and go into stores and take stuff. Jason, Robs brother gets killed when they go on the bridge to escape and they keep on going. Rob feels he has to HAS TO go and save Beth. He gets a message from Beth and she is stuck in her apartment. They go into a train station and go into the tacks. The girl gets bitten and she is injured very badly.
They don't know where to go until the get to a mall. They see all these light and are looking through the store. The army people are there and take them to get help. The girl that got bit starts to bleed in the eyes and feels awful. The army people take her away and take her behind a curtain and blood went everywhere. Hud, the camera dude, liked that girl and is very sad.
They look for Beth and get her and she is also very wounded. Lily gets into a helicopter and Rob gets into one too. They go up and they see the monster(I thought the monster looked funny). An airplane bombs the monster and Rob is really happy, until the monster hits them and gets back up and they go down.
They get up and it is now morning. They walk but Hud forgot the camera on the ground, the monster is right above and looks at hud. He gets killed and it is only Rob and Beth. They go under a bridge and say their last words to the camera and thats the end of the movie.

Its about this crazy monster terrorizing the city and stuff...And no one can defeat it....
it really isnt good.... The first 35 minutes i was the most bored i have ever been in my life and then the rest of the movie was "actiony" but it was that good... and the ending(if you can even call it that) was so stupid
I saw it after reading a lot about it, I liked the movie it actually scared me which is wierd cause I usually don't get frightened at movies unless you have jessica simpson in it...anyway...It was really good...just be ready to jump and dodge....lol
This group of friends were planning a party for their friend who was leaving for Japan. The party was interrupted by an earth quake. It turned out that the earthquake was caused by a giant monster. The movie centers around the main group of five friends who are trying to survive the monster's attack, trying to find a way out of Manhattan. (Poor Manhattan. . . First it's ravaged by a virus that turns people in Infected monsters. . . [I am Legend] Then it's destroyed by a giant monster! It's not having a very good year.) This group of friends keep running into this monster and keep having to hide and run. They're also attacked by giant fleas a few times. Nice night to throw a party, huh?
Omg cloverfield is such a well-made movie. I highly recomend it. It's filmed like a home video, like the movie Blair Witch Project. It's about, well let's just say this "thing" that goes around and destroys NYC, destruction scenes of New York City are similar to I Am Legend, but much more. It's worth going to but make sure you take some motron or advil before you go if you get headaches easily. I'm totally buying this movie when it comes out, I love how it was filmed and am so glad I went to see it.
