Add SUBTITLE to divx format file?!

I'm gonna add english subtitle to a divx format movie thats in swedish.Please guide me in this regard.

Oooh I spent hours trying to do that for a Hindi movie. I finally got it.
Go to http://www.opensubtitles.org and get the subtitles file (It will be a zip containing an SRT file.
Download BS Player; herez the link

PLay the video file... while playing, right click on the screen, select load subtitles and load the SRT file.
