Twilight Movie Moving to Oregon?!
Question: -cough- Like many, I am a super fan of the beloved books, Twilight. Honestly, is the movie being shot somewhat in the Oregon area? I live out there :) I heard that Jacob is being cast in Portland, and I almost went out for an extra. I am not a Jacob Black fan, but the fact that he might come from Oregon- who knows. Edward Forever!

PORTLAND, ORE. Lana Veenker Casting announced today that it is seeking a 16-18 year old Native American male to play a significant role in the upcoming Summit Entertainment film "Twilight," directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
No other roles will be considered at the open call, but persons interested in working as extras on the film can send their information to Rutabaga Background Casting, the extras division of Lana Veenker Casting. Instructions are available at sayrutabaga.com.
During spring break, a vampire will haunt the silent halls of Kalama High School. Summit Entertainment is producing the film, which will be shot at locations around the Northwest, including Forks. To film at the Kalama school, Hamilton said producers will rent the facility and provide any improvements (such as new paint) for filming as they see fit.
