Anyone else find "I am legend" a piece of crap?!

Question: i seen it a few weeks ago and had been looking forward to seeing it since i first saw the trailer as it looked like the kinda film i'd usually enjoy...but after the first 20mins or so i was so desperate to leave the cinema as i found it mindnumbingly boring but refused to leave since i paid to watch it....as the film went on it just went from bad to worse...anyone else agree?

It was horrible. It's a pity Will Smith keeps picking crap movies to be in b/c he did a pretty good job, but the movie itself was worthless.

Then again, I Am Legend is one of my favorite books, so I'm biased against it. Most of my friends thought it was okay until the woman showed up.

I don't see why every movie has to have christian undertones and too much CG to be good. There's a reason indie films are always the real breakthroughs. Gah! I could go on and on.

yes it was dross

totally!

Personally I thought it was okay half my friends said it was crap and the others liked it

it didn't have many details but it was interesting.

total rubbish

Its not a peice of crap, it was another great performance. It wasnt as good as it looked on the trailor to you because the trailer shows almost all the good parts. the ending could have been better but either then that, your crazy

I honestly felt a little misguided. I thought it was going to be a unique film about a post apocalypse, but in reality it was just a zombie film with a pretty name. IN fact it was worse then a zombie film, at least in those films zombies actually killed somebody. Did they even show anybody getting killed by one of those things?

I saw that movie and I thought it was great.

i thought it was a lot better than the hoolywood average these days but still bloody aweful. i'm glad i downloaded it. i would have been pissed off if i had paid to see it

it is not bad at all

like the movie but hated the ending !!!!!

it was alright
not as good as i thought it would be

I thought it was a pretty good movie, but it was a little confusing and the end was sad. But the main thing I didn't like was that it didn't follow the book!

I genuinely think that you are being kind, it's much worse than that, any oscar nominations, i don't think so

good story line, a bit bland in parts- i liked it though, i thought it was quite exciting in some aspects, the ending was a bit sh*t though i think.. i mean why would have a grenade in the draw ffs?? im not a film critic though!!
overall it was a good film but i expected more.. and the bit where he killed his dog had me trembling.

First of all, it wasn't a zombie film. The monsters were supposed to be like vampires, not zombies.

Second of all, what did you expect? A full cast of superstar characters? Leonardo DiCaprio and Julia Roberts? He was the LAST man on Earth, all alone, with no one to talk to except for his dog. The silence and "non-action" that you found boring was necessary for the movie, and evoked a lot of emotion for me personally. It's the first movie that's brought me to tears in a long time.

I think the movie was especially ground-breaking because all of the main characters were racial minorities, and yet the movie appealed to a very broad audience and did extremely well at the box office. That's something you don't see too often.

Point being, you shouldn't require everyone on Hollywood's A-list, a car chase, and a shoot-out for a movie to hold your interest or for you to consider it worth seeing.

Oh dear, I've just crossed it off my 'must see' list. Thanks.

i thought it was pretty good!! the ending was sad but duh he had to die thats why its called i am legend!! he is a legend for what he did he found the cure that was the whole point of the movie!! it was sad that his only friend the dog died!but it was pretty good!and i loved what he said about bob marley...

Three words: Worst. Ending. Ever.

i was let down the film looked brillant, i mean it wasnt crap, but wasnt as good as i was expecting
