To those who watched Cloverfield.....?!
Question: Can you please spoil it for me and what is that thing or Monster attacking New York City? Plus is it worth watching or wait for it to come out to video DVD?
I don't want to get sucked in the hype like the Movie Snakes on a Plane, but how would you rate that movie?

Ok well I saw it last night and I must say that you need to wait for it on DVD. Since you said to spoil it for you I will....
It begins where they are having a go away party for Rob bc he is leaving for Japan. They hear a bunch of noises and the ground starts trimbling. they go outside and see that the statue of libertie's head head a building and falls to the floor. they all start freaking out and walk towards to the bridge. The bridge get hit and collapses. Rob's brother dies at the bridge. After that Rob gets a call from this girl Beth (former girlfriend) and says that she is stuck at her apartment. They start heading towards her apt and get in the middle of the army shooting at the monster. You finally get to see the monster but it looks nothing like what you've seen online. They finally reach Beth and head back to this helicopter base. This army general tells them that they are going to destroy the city in order to kill the monster. They get to the helicopter and leave in 2 helicopters. It looks as though they finally shoot down the monster but he takes a swing at the helicopter and it goes down. Rob, Hun and Beth survive the crash. Hun dies bc the monster kills him. Then you see Rob and Beth go hide under a bridge. they start filming their goodbyes and then you hear the army shoot down the bridge. then you see the bridge explodes and rocks everywhere. The end. Ending sucks. wait for it on DVD.
Did I spoil it enough for you??
I will be watching it this Saturday. I hope it is all it has been hyped up to be. Only info I have is there is more then 1 monster. 1 large one, and a bunch of small parasitic ones that fall off of the large one.

Okay, I haven't seen it yet, but there was word out about a year ago that Godzilla was making his return to NYC.
If you watch the trailer on the Yahoo home page, you can see some sort of reptilian claw coming at the people at the very end of the trailer.
That would be such a let down...Godzilla has had his day.
Snakes on a plane was so bad that it was good!!!
