it's a secret, that's why there is such much buzz on this movie.
I read about the director of the movie, he said he came up with the idea whe he was in a toy stoy and saw a Godzilla toy. This made him think about how the US doesnt have any real monsters like Godzilla, so Cloverfield is the US's monster.

It is a monster. Just look at the last 5 mins if the movie and you'll see where it came from.
I heard it was something unlike any other monsters from previous movies. It has to be big because it tore off the statue of liberty's head and tossed it. There are pictures posted here and there supposed to be it, but I don't trust them to be the truth. We will all know after tomorrow!
