What is the movie Cloverfield about?!
Question: I've seen the preview to this movie about 50 times and yet I still can't figure out what this movie is suppose to be about...? Maybe it's one of those movies that you aren't suppose to really know much about it until you actually see it, but I'm curious if anyone else knows what this movie is about... id really like to know!

Its About A Group Of Friends Throwing Their Friend A Going Away Party Before He Goes To Japan.
Then NYC Gets Attacked by A Behemoth Being. As The Creature Attacks The Main Characters Continue To Document It As They Live Through It.

It is trying to capitalize on the shaky camera movie thingy that the Blair Witch Project was succesful on. Supposedly aliens attack and a bunch of college kids are filming everything with their cameras. one problem most college students don't have the money to purchase cameras that will produce hidef video quality. If they wanted to make the movie realistic it should be a regular Best Buy shaky camera. Better yet why are they even making it a shaky camera movie in the first place?
