What movie had the best prolonged realistic gun fight?!

Question: To me the its hands down the scene at the end of "The Way Of The Gun" with the bank robbery shootout in "Heat" finishing a close second. But I'm curious to see if anyone who have seen those films and can think of a better one.

opening scene of "Blade"
"The way of the gun"
"Serpico"
"To live and die in LA"

The Matrix. Not realistic, but very entertaining.

16 blocks with Bruce Williams

many of Bruce's movies have prolonged realistic fun gun fights and car chases

Mine is HEAT with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, but you said this in your question (didn't read the whole question until i posted this)... when i think of another one i'll edit it in.

Heat is about as good as it gets for shootouts.

The end of Scarface is a pretty good one

True Romance also had a pretty good shootout at the end - I'm just not sure how realistic it was.

Well, Heat is by far the best. The newest Die hard has a couple decent ones.

Oh, it's "Heat!" Hands down best gunfight ever! Michael Mann is a genius!

The opening sequence of Saving Private Ryan.

The shootout is Miami Vice. it's very real, very confusing and very fast.
