yes,the guys from imdb and iesb said that its official release will be some time in August 2008,but the title is Dragon Ball,without Z,suggesting that the storyline revolves around Son Goku (Justin Chatwin-I-dont-know-him) fighting Piccolo(played by the Brainiac guy from Smallville) who wants to collect dragonballs in his plan to conquer the world (what else would bad guys in movies do...) that also means there wont be Super Saiya Jin modes,unfortunately.
the movie is has just started filming in Mexico,so there wont be any trailers so soon.there are a few pictures taken from the shooting location in Mexico.I got this (below) from iesb.net.
