Unfortunately, there probably--most definitely will be a Pirates 4. It's a sad thing. I think they should have just ended at the 2nd (at the most), but what do I know?
Pirates 4 probably won't release for quite a few years. Bruckheimer and Disney said that they'll most likely start filming somewhere from 2009-2011, so the actual release of the film is unknown and could be as far as 2012. In that case they shouldn't even try making another. And apparently this film will be alll about Jack Sparrow. Disney said they will write out Knightley and Bloom's characters.

I didn't think they were doing another one. I've heard so many different rumors about it. Where did you hear about it? I've heard stories about a spin-off...I really hope they make a 4th one though!
aww man, i hope they do a 4th one. i love all three. i heard they not because of the way it ended.. if u watched the little part after the credits of at worlds end.
but i sure hope so. cant get enuff of captain jack sparrow.
It is not guaranteed that they are doing a fourth one , and if they are it definitely won't be anytime soon. According to Jerry Bruckheimer (the producer of Pirates), they won't do it until around 2011, if at all.
