I think that the franchise will be more popular than ever. It is rare that a sequel surpasses an original in quality and depth. Batman Begins ran circles around all of the rest. Christian Bale is the best Batman yet and with Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman as supporting cast, you can't lose.
Hmmm, well, I don't know. BB was pretty good but DK doesn't look like it might be that great. I've heard some pretty lame spoilers and I can't believe that the makeup people thought they did a good job on the Joker. But, who knows. It can't be as bad as Batman and Robin!
