DO I have a pirated copy of IT? The movie "IT" which was written by St!

Question: A few years ago I watched the movie and it started out where the little boy Georgie in the 60's is killed by the clown who says "we all float down here" The clown appears in a drain. Then the story tells of how 7 youngsters became fiends and defeated "IT". Then as a grown up one of the group go to the site where a child is murdered and see's the photo of Georgie floating in the drain and rings the other members of the group who all turn up as adults to defeat "It" again. I saw the DVD today and all of the above was left out and the movie started where the grownups arrive at Derry Main at the calling of the Librarian. a whole hour was taken out. Has any one recently seen both versions of "IT" or do I have a pirated copy.

Well I have a pirated copy of IT and it is on 2 discs. The 2nd disc is that part where you explained about the library. So maybe you got 1 disc out of the 2.

Hmm...I didn't know there was more than one version...if it's pirated, then why would it be so different? Aren't pirated movies basically the same movie, but shot in poor quality (like someone recording a movie that is playing).

The first description you made of that movie is what I remember. That movie scared the living daylights out of me when I was a kid.

I was wondering, who would pirate an older movie like that? Maybe I'm just naive or ignorant, but don't most people just pirate new movies for a profit??

& also, how long is the version you have? B/c I'm pretty sure the movie is like 3 hrs long...

When IT was on TV it was a mini-series and was in several parts. It sounds like you don't have the complete mini-series.

i have it on dvd and on vhs,
both parts are on both except the vhs version comes with two tapes, this could somehow tie into it
