Has anyone seen The Shawshank Redemption and do you like it?!

I love the part where Morgan Freeman finds the rock. His emotions are so believable in this scene: the fear of being seen, the surprise, and finally the thrill of his discovery.
I have to say one thing though, it would have taken me days (maybe weeks) to find that rock since it was under other rocks. I guess I'm just not a good treaure hunter.
Very good film Morgan Freeman is one of my wife`s favourite actors....

yes it,s one of my favourites and was a bit of a flop at the cinemas but went on to be a cult movie on vhs and dvd.its one of the finest films ever made and in most peoples top 10 films ever. i love tim robbins line just before he escapes get busy livin or get busy dying.
One of may favorites of all time. If I turn past it on TV, no matter what part of the movie it's in, I will watch it till the end.
its oneof favourite films ever!!! i watched it last year and from the start i just loved the andys character, and the friends he makes and the hardhsips he endures and that evil jailor (who i hated). i was gearing myself up for an end where he is released and everything is happy ever after, an uplifting type film but the actual ending just blew me away!! WOWWWWWWWWWW. i LOVE that film.
I love it but if you like the film you should know that the book is equally brilliant and the film is only a third of the story....get busy living, or get busy dying....climbed through a tunnel of s*** and came out clean on the other side....classic

Yes, it was an excellent movie. If you liked that, you should see The Bucket List. It was very good as well.
Shawshank redemption was a great movie. I'm very picky about DVDs that I buy, but I bought Shawshank Redemption without question.
Brilliant film, Morgan Freedman is wonderful.
Of course. I saw this in the theatre in 1994 and told everybody and their mother that this was a better movie than Forrest Gump. Gump went on to win the best picture Oscar that year but it looks like Shawshank has a lot larger following and is still creating buzz nearly 15 years later. I feel vindicated.
Morgan Freeman is awesome in the movie.... One of my all time favorites.... Can't pass it up... gotta watch it.
I think it;s a great movie. My husband has ran it in the ground though. After watching it the first 15 times, I hope not to see it again for awhile. Hubby goes around quoting it all the time. He likes to say, "Gone like a fart in the wind."
It is a fantastic film, Morgan Freeman's voice just makes it. I think everyone should have a copy on DVD!

oh yes it is a real tear jerker well it is for me anyway, i love powerful fims and this is definitely a top film!
a few times I love it because it think its based on a true story and it shows how much prejudice there was in those days compared to now.Strongly reconmend it...maybe some tissues to.
I love it but I pretty much love anything by Stephen King.Tim Robbins is excellent and so is Morgan Freeman.It was really moving.The Green Mile is also a good movie set in the same prison.I suggest reading the books too.

I find it hard to believe that it is a Stephen King book (he normally doesn't translate well to the big screen)

of course, its a great film, but its not the only film out there, some of the best movies ive ever seen are the ones you have never heard of, check out foreign films, most of their stuff is better then the crap America be throwing out there.

I would say that the Shawshank redemption is one of the best movies ever made. When i watched it the first time i was so amazed....Brilliant movie with brilliant acting.
