In Final Destination, after the plane takes off in real life...?!

Question: ...and Alex, Clear, and the rest of them were at the gate, the plane explodes, like in Alex's vision. But, when the plane does explode, why do the windows shatter when the explosion is so far away?

Similar to the effect of a sonic boom. The force of the explosion travels in a soundwave, therefore shattering the terminal windows.Ta da.....

IT'S HOLLYWOOD MAN.

my name is alex........soz hehe might not of helped!!!

The shear force of the explosion shattered the windows even from such a distance.

I wonder if that would actually happen i doubt it , how about submitting it to mythbusters ^^

Because Hollywood made it seem that way.

Because it's a movie. ha ha ha. It can also happen in real life, the force of the explosion moves the air at a very high speed.

Because the Sound from the blast is too loud for the windows to cope with so they shatter..x

It is called a shock wave this is normal with any explosion.

its the back lash, the force of the explosion is so powerful hense the windows shattering
