Both were really good, I think I may have even liked the second one better. I went with my dad and he hadn't seen the first one and he still really liked it. I would watch both, but you wouldn't of had to see the first one to enjoy the second.
the first movie is really good. i liked it a lot better then the second movie. its about the treasure left behind by the nights templar. it has more history in it i thought.
you will still understand the second movie without seeing the first one but it wouldn't be a bad idea to watch it to familiarize yourself with the characters and other things that are only eluded to.
It's fun. It's just called "National Treasure." It's not great, but it is entertaining.
You don't need it for plot elements, but it does help explain the relationships in the 2nd film.
