How to get in for an 18 film?!
Question: I really really want to go see sweeny todd but im only 16 (nearly 17) but i dont know if i'll get in and i really dont think my girlfriend will either. Any ideas on how i could go see it on the big screen?

Easy, Buy tickets for a film thats like a 12 and then just sneakily walk into the 18. You should be able to unless they actually check them inside the screen bit but the cinema I go to they dont.

if ur 16 ur probly get iin so dont worry....ive been 2 seen an 18 film and im only 15 :)
just make sure u look old enough (make up, clothes etc)
if they don't let u in then atleast u tried, u won't get in trouble
theres a gud 99 percent chance that u'll get in tho
if you look old enough and they don't ask for ID, you're fine.
Theatres are required by law to check identification for all age-restricted movies. Unless you go with a parent, you can't see the movie by yourself
dont shave for 3 days.if they dont let u then try another cinema.or u can search online for like half hour then ud probably find a site

um well if your below the age of 18 then maybe you should be accompanied by an adult.It works for me and i'm only 14 soon gonna be 15 so that i can watch 12,15,U,PG films but not the 18.They should let you in then.
my friend said if you pre-order the tickets then collect them when you get there, you've already got the tickets without having to show ID, so you'll get in fine, I've brought tickets for 18's at the cinema though, and I'm only 16 (and I probably look younger)

Tell ur GF to wear lots of makeup, heels, and maybe stuff her bra or something. Ive done that to get into saw (im 14)

common mistake. R-Rated movies are "under 17 requires adult". This means when you turn 17 you are allowed to get in with proper ID of course. If it's not to long, just wait until you're 17 then they'll let you in. I turned 17 in September and get in all the time. The only reason you would need to be 18 for an R rated film is to buy tickets for other people younger than you.
