Should i watch Red Dragon (2002) before Silence of the Lambs (1991)?!

This IS the story that introduces us to Hannibal Lecter, so you may wish to start there. I (like most people) saw "Silence" first, then read the book, then read "Red Dragon," then saw "Manhunter." I don't think my appreciation of Thomas Harris (or Dr. Lecter) suffered due to the inchronology (you like that word? I just made it up!) of my reading.
If you want to see the movies in order, then DO see "Red Dragon" then "Silence of the Lambs" then "Hannibal." "Hannibal Rising" is just for connoisseurs of Dr. Lecter.
BTW, in the CC (closed captioning) of "Manhunter" it's spelled Lektor, not Lecter. In the book "Red Dragon" it's Lecter.

i suppose you can but there are a lot of allusions about Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, so you should watch Red Dragon at the end as it's the last chapter of the trilogy
Its true that it is a prequil, but I would definetly watch silence of the lambs first, Red Dragon unfolds in a way that is alot easier to uinderstand if you have seen silence of the lambs be sure not to miss Hannibal (2006) it sheds a lot of light on the twistedness of Hannibal, how and why he got that way.
