Depends on your dad, really, but I know an awful lot of guys that were surprised and upset that it's a musical. There is a LOT of singing. It's also pretty explicitly violent... when I saw it two days ago people were walking out on it.
On the other hand it's a fantastic movie, especially if you have a twisted sense of humor.... you make the call.

Sweeney Todd is a great movie. Your dad should enjoy it, but just warn him that there is a lot of singing, otherwise a great movie.
About Coca Cola I'm not sure what year but I know that around 1985 the came out with a new Coca Cola formula that nobody liked. I remember because I didn't like it either.

if you like a slight musical type of movie (johnny depp singing is good), then yes. i like alan rickman in this movie. National Treasure : the book of secrets is a must see movie. You should watch it too.

If your Dad likes lots of singing and lots of blood, this will be the movie for him. They stopped the cocaine in the early 1900's.
