Perez Hilton has no credibility. The Oscars may not happen, it is certainly a possibility. However, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has a great deal more connections within the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, and the Screen Actors Guild than the HFPA. With the closed door handshakes and Shenanigans this town is famous for, they will most likely work out a deal that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (Golden Globes) didn't have the clout to resolve.
