"Apres Vous" is not really a Romatic one, but i just had to mention it. there is some romance in it. but it does have that relationship drama that just hits you. the initial premise really got me. french guy stops a vagabond, while trying to patch up with his girlfrd, from a suicide attempt. wackiness ensues.
"Amelie" i liked also. it's incidentally romantic. yes, happy ending. but you gotta get through the beginning & the middle. & those can take you on some strange & funny tangents.

"Jules et Jim" is my favorite.
I'd have to say, as the other person did, "Amélie".
Now the movie is one of my favorites. But it's extremely hit or miss. You either like it or hate it.
You have to pay attention the whole time (which one should do to any movie), but in this movie in particular, the little details all connect by the end.
