Phantom of the Opera. Am I the only one who likes the 2004 movie? (or LOVES it)?!

Question: I don't know many who do, the music is very good.

Answers: I don't know many who do, the music is very good.

I absolutely loved it. I bought it when it came out on DVD and also bought the sound track to play in my car. So no, you are not the only one. If you ever get a chance, you simply must go and see the live Broadway show. Spectacular!!!

I saw the play at the kennedy center when i was like 10 & totally fell in love & listened to the POTO tapes recorded by Sarah Brightman & Michael Crawford. I guess I got used to them & no one can compare to singers like that. By the time the movie came around, nothing could compare to the tapes lol (not even when I saw the play again in high school). the movie is good & the singers in it are very talented, but it's just not the same

me and my friends like it...... we even have the soundtrack on our ipods, and one of my pals can play the main song on the piano. IT ROCKS! everytime we have a sleepover, we always watch it. Call us music nerds. whatever. IT'S GREAT!!!

Like the movie? Yes. Love it? No. I do, however, love the sound track. It really is some good music.

I loved the movie when I first saw it, and watched twice in one day, but then, this summer I saw the play in Ottawa... and the movie just doesn't compare.

I love that movie!! It's awesome. I can't even count how many times I've watched it.

OMG, It's like my favorite movie of all times and I cna't wait till Sept. when I get to go see the Broadway production. 2004 one is about the closet to the book even though it is still pretty far off. My i-pod is probably very tired of playing the music. I love all of it and I dont' see how people didn't like it. I actually wrote an essay on it for my favorite movie.

I really enjoyed the movie. Give me Emmy Rossum's voice over the shrieking Sarah Brightman any day.

That being said, nothing beats a live performance of this musical, especially on Broadway.

i love phantom of the opera! i think the movie did justice to the play. both were very good. the movie had a great actress cast as christine (with an amazing voice!).
