Have you seen Danny Boyle's 'Sunshine'?!
Question: I really hope someone has and can tell me what on earth happened. I just got seriously confused and annoyed when the captain from the other ship turns up (how?) all covered in scar tissue and murderous because he has spoken to god and god doesn't want the world to be saved.
I was really disppointed with this film - Boyle's other films have been so good.

I don't think disappointed is a strong enough word. You'd have thought that as many great minds as they had on that ship that they could've made one good working ship out of two mostly functional ships. Some complete idiot must've done the psych evaluations on these people before they left earth. Why didn't they take any of the green plants to the other ship????? Why didn't they try to salvage oxygen from the other ship???? Who chooses these captains with sun fetishes????? I mean they both had this problem????
Dont bother wasting your time thinking about it, its just a really bad movie that rips off other films one of them being 2001 A Space Oddyessy.
I think he got power from somewhere else which is not God. But his face has burned as he has ever open the protector which is not recommended by the Artificial intelligent computer.

Earth very needs sun.
Then the Icarus ship is to revive sun.
Ugh I thought it sucked so bad. There was a lot of slow parts too. The way the captain from the other ship showed up was so stupid. I had really hoped that Sunshine would be a good movie but I was very let down!
