I do, especially about Doby. I'm really upset and it's going to be weird at the end of Movie 7 when Doby appears out of no where to save Harry's life.... Unless they cut that as well.

I think your in love with the books and need to understand that a 2 hour movie cant have everything in it....i just hope they can put Malfoys mom in the next movie....that would be cool

First, it's not necessarily the director. The writer may have decided not to include things. Books are different from movies and not everything in a book can fit into a movie. Or it can fit but would hurt the movie. I think the best to hope for is that a movie conveys the spirit and main story to the same artistic level of the book, not merely the details of the book.

Its not just that film. Most films that are adapted from books miss a lot out.
The Golden Compass, for instance, misses out huge chunks of the book, and those bits that are in the film are in the wrong order.

watch this it awesomeley intense:

this is the most searched thing on wiki. just dont cry coz its emotional

All the more reason to read books. They are so much better then the movie version. Very few can do the book justice.

If you think you can turn an 800 page book into a 2 1/2 hour movie that will keep people interested, please try. I think they did a decent enough job with their time constraints. S.P.E.W. has no bearing on anything and is just a subplot; it really doesn't matter that Hermione thinks house elves should be free because it's not going to help their fight against Voldemort. If you hadn't read the books, you wouldn't be missing anything. Of course everyone is upset that the movies are awful compared to the books, but unless you're going to have a 5 hour movie (which very few people will want to sit through, despite the fact that it's Harry Potter), it's just not going to work to leave everything in.
