Did anyone else have nightmares after watching Dawn of the Dead?!

Question: I watched half an hour of it last night, went to bed and dreamt that zombies were chasing me in my house!

When I came out of the nightmare I was so petrified that I yanked the duvet over my head and stayed there till the morning!!!

(no thanks to Marky, he told me to watch it!)

Thank you

Me...

I saw the original.. waay back as a young teen (with about 8-10 of my friends, who'd piled into an older friend's car)... and while they were laughing all the way home... I just couldn't get an image OUT of my head, my mind's eye.. of a zombie reaching in and tearing out a handful/mouthful of human intestines... while they were alive/in shock on the floor and helpless.. that, is a horrible thing... to see.

I dreamed of that, and saw it over & over & over... and thanks for reminding me.. (good thing I'm at work)

not me

No not me,
That movie made me really hungry for skin and brains though.

nope - I thought it was funny and dumb!

yes.....

I don't really have nightmares. I thought that movie was a joke. I laugh through most horror films though because they just aren't scary to me.

Hell yah.
That sh_t is scary !

I didn't, but I had trouble sleeping in the dark. It was raining too. I thought that zombies were all over my house. :[

I haven't had a nightmare from a movie since i was like 8

I thought it was funny

uhh no

nope watched it last night to wasnt scary just funny

I see you too have a magic duvet.
Just pull it over your head and you're totally safe!

yes, and the 28 days/weeks movies as well. SHYT is Effing Freaky!!

isn't that why you watched it?

Nah, I always loved zombie movies, so they don't get to me much anymore lol... though there are times when, after watching a movie or playing a game with zombies, I start to think that I'll open my door and a zombie will come in... it's weird lol.

I've never seen it, so I wouldn't know--I hate scary movies as I'm too impressionable and WOULD have nightmares just like that!

ONly film that really disturbed my sleep was HIlls Have Eyes. Only film I couldn't watch the whole way through!

Invasion of the Body snatchers did it for me, The 70's version. Saw it when i was a kid, and every once in a while i have a nightmare where either my little sisters, or now my kids would be playing and the aliens would kill them and duplicate the way they look and i would be hugging an alien. Still freaks me out.

couldn't get nightmares from watching that awful remake - try watching George a Romero's Day of the Dead - that'll make you stay under your duvet for a month - - coincidentally in my dreams last night i was trapped in my resident evil games with monsters and gore and limbs being torn off while being chased, IT WAS NOT FUN, - sympathies to you

No.

I didn't find it frightening, gory, yes, but not very frightening or even scary for that matter.

It's rare that a zombie flick actually contains 'horror', zombie flicks are more like Slasher films than anything.

How ever, I have known a few people to have nightmares due to certain zombie flicks.

I myself, I had nightmares after watching a paranormal horror film from Japan, I don't remember the name of it, but it really got me a spooked.

Don't feel bad though, I had nightmares after watching 'The Day After Tomorrow' about the whole warming then severe cooling of the Earth.

Silly, huh? I think it got my mind racing a bit because it's something that could actually happen in my life time.

I would have if i had watched it. I've saved it on Sky+ and I'm gonna watch it in daylight. It's too scary.

My nightmares only happens when i am awake. lol

Make sure there is someone with you when watching scary films. Scary films are not meant to watch alone, horrible.

Love zombies films, they are really creepy and gruesome but it really get my attentions. Bit scared but i'm fine. lol

How old are you being scared of a zombie film just remeber it's fiction

no it was more of a laugh if anything it was not scary at all
