oliver reed at his best and wow the worst wigs in movie history and the worse sound.....you dont notice the sound quality in movies until you hear a movie where they must have put socks over the mics and some major movie bloopers...like the "oil" lantern being carried in the woods and you can see the extension cord being dragged through the fake snow..ahahahhahahh
Cannibal The Musical
The Doom Generation
.. and of course the classic Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Shock Treatment.. (these are so far above CULT status)
edit: hmm.. I would never have thought of Buckaroo Bonzai as a cult movie.. but I suppose it fits.. that one is awesome as well..
"Thelma and Louise". I view it as a cinematic work of art.
The spiritual transformation that Thelma undergoes when she launches her criminal career, and Louise's resigned acceptance of the cards she has been dealt in her struggle to "forget being raped" and ill-fated quest to be happy, is truly inspiring.
The conclusion, though unbelievable, can be seen as a triumph of human will over insurmountable odds: a way out that was inconceivable to their police pursuers.
Alberich
Vampire Cult (i think thats the title its a true story!)
decidely pulp fiction
i really like rocky horror picture show
but i must say reefer madness made me giggle
Probably have to go with Donnie Darko which was a cult film when it first came out but gained some popularity later on
Ever see Corey McAbee's "The American Astronaut?" It's a weird science fiction/musical/western/horror film. Really weird in a wonderful way.
