Answers: a. the plot of the movie (summarize the story)
b. three facts about U.S. History in the movie and identify one more fact that is not actually true (something about U.S. History that they made up)

A. When a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth surfaces, Bens great-great grandfather is suddenly implicated as a key conspirator in Abraham Lincolns death. Determined to prove his ancestors innocence, Ben follows an international chain of clues that takes him on a chase from Paris to London and ultimately back to America. This journey leads Ben and his crew not only to surprising revelations but to the trail of the worlds most treasured secrets.

B. Factual errors: Riley says he got some information via the Freedom Of Information Act "in '66". The Act, however, did not become law until 1974.

Factual errors: When John Wilkes Booth is told to leave the saloon that he is in, just before the assassination of Lincoln, it shows him traveling to Ford's Theater by horse. In fact, the saloon that Booth visited just before the assassination is actually right next door adjoining Ford's Theater and now the present location of the Hardrock Cafe' DC.

Factual errors: Gold was barely, or completely unknown to the ancient Olmec culture. Of course further cultures found it, and used it, but it was a couple hundred years later.

HINT: No map on back of D of I.

For the rest, you're going to have to rent the film, watch it, and DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK, buckwheat.

If you do, there's a great DVD easter egg on the DVD.
