Who remembers around 10 years ago in the UK, an 'Aliens' movie themed th!

Question: It was usually in venues concerts got held and things. You started out on a spaceship walking through and you had a 'soldier' guiding you around telling the crowd something was wrong and he had to check what it was. Then the lights cut out and one of the aliens from the movie would chase everyone about while the soldier fired shots at it and things. Does anyone remember this? I dont think it was around for long but it was really good.

It was called "Alien War" it was fully licenced by 20th Century Fox. It originally opened in Scotland (Glasgow, I believe) but was so popular it transferred to Londons Trocadero Centre in Piccadilly Circus.

On it's UK opening Sigourney Weaver and other "Aliens" cast members attended and were given the tour. To make the experience authentic actual props, costumes & sets from the Aliens movie were used there.

I had the honour of doing the tour myself (with a bunch of Italian schoolkids who spoke almost no English) and found myself either constantly at the front or back, nearest the action and being mauled by Aliens. It is a walk through LV-426, featuring a failed ride in an APC and a member of the tour being taken by the Aliens (who is a plant in every tour).

I still have my Alien War "I survived" t-shirt, keyring and carrier bag. The attraction will be re-opening in London some time this year.

think youre on your own with this one kid

'fraid this doesn't ring a bell

i never actually went along to it, but i do remember other people saying they had went to it here in aberdeen

i remember they told me that they walked about in dark creepy surrounding and the actual aliens were jumping out on them and stuff, i think i maybe saw a souviner photo with the aliens as well, which proberly cost £10 extra

hope thats of some help ha ha

I do! I do! I went to it with my brother-in-law at the time. It was pretty good, I love the Alien films so it was a must. Love to go again if it really is making a come-back. They could stick Predators in there too this time!
